The Xtris Network's aim and purpose is to provide a safe, efficient, professional and friendly IRC network for users around the world; our professionalism is our key factor to a prosperous future as an Internet community.
The Xtris Network is a not-for-profit Organisation which currently provides IRC services to its users. Our members of staff are not paid; they are volunteers (totaling twenty three) who donate themselves selflessly to the running of the network and its users. The Organisation has no employees, and no one within the network obtains a salary or income from the operation of the network. We rely on the continued support of our network staff and the infrequent donations made by dedicated and generous users.
We are currently serving you from ten countries in ten languages.
We are always wanting input, suggestions and comments relating to our network operation. We value your input, and will try to meet your demands in every way possible.

mIRC v7.1 released

On July 30th, 2010, a new version of the popular IRC client, mIRC was released.
This new release has converted the client to Unicode, meaning those in foreign languages should find a lot more support for their language-specific-characters.
